Join USC student, staff and community cyclists for a FREE Bike Ride and Skills Workshop on Wednesday Sept 21, 2016 for information on cycling around major roadway and building construction. We will meet at Pardee Plaza, just north of the USC/Expo Metro Station at Trousdale Parkway and Exposition Boulevard at 12:30 for a brief bike and helmet fit check-up. We’ll review key scanning, signaling, turning, road position and other skills needed for busy LA roadways, and discuss plans for new bike improvements on Figueroa and Jefferson. We will head off campus at 2pm to explore some of the major construction areas, including new buildings and bikeways along Jefferson and Figueroa. Return back to Pardee Plaza by 3pm to debrief and collect your USCBC front and rear bike lights!
